Gah! I wish I were still home. There are so many things I miss. One of the major things that I miss is all the game playing. [I’m still a child].

I got to play games ALL THE TIME. I really enjoy playing games and don’t get to do it often enough. What’s better? The fact that my family also enjoys games, as well. My one brother and I both love them the best and we spent lots of time playing games together. It was most wonderful. One day we spent time playing all sorts of random games we found in the closet. The contenders that day were:

My brother thought it was a little old lady? I’m pretty certain it’s a man…

My brother was a very pretty princess. He had definitely played more recently than I have though, because he knew all about the black ring. Hmm..interesting haha. I think the last time I played was when I was in elementary school. Didn’t matter, though, because I won. It was pretty funny though because we were in the middle of a game and the mail lady came and rang our door. I had the crown on, a necklace, a ring and one earring and decided to up and answer the door like that because I didn’t want to take everything off. It would have taken too long. Mad props to her. She didn’t say anything, nor did she give me any strange looks. Ha! Maybe I should go around wearing a crown more often ;).

I don’t know. Maybe this was suppose to be a take off on Hungry Hungry Hippos? Lol. I did some major domination and my brother decided that it was because my frog was better and he wanted to switch. Let’s just say it didn’t make a difference hehe.

For Mr. Mouth we each played two hands and tried to flip them in. We each won 1 round so obviously had to play a championship round and I most certainly won. Just saying, I seriously dominated game day hehe. I had forgotten about a lot of the games we used to play way back when, but man they were so simple, but super fun! In a later post, I’ll probably talk more about some of the games I got to play when there was more family around.

Meanwhile, try out this awesome brownie recipe. It’s based upon my low carb 6 ingredient clean and vegan fudgy protein brownies with a coconut twist! They also make use of cashew butter which you can buy at the store (please make sure it’s clean!), or make your own with my Cinnamon Cashew Butter recipe!

What were some of your favorite games growing up?

Have you ever played any of these ones?

  1. Oooh the brownies sound awesome! Easy to make too. I like the protein powder addition for a little boost.
I don’t think I did actually play any of those games growing up (though I think I would have really loved Pretty Princess haha).
We played the Game of Life a lot. Candyland, Monopoly… You’re making me realize I haven’t played a board game in awhile and I just bought Sushi Go and I think it’s sitting unopened in my closet right now.

  2. I used to love all those games! I haven’t seen Don’t Break the Ice in years!

Your brownies sound amazing!! I’m excited to try them!
